After working in medical aesthetics for nearly a decade, Valerie Monismith, RN felt there was something missing from the industry’s approach to client satisfaction. To fill the void, Valerie envisioned a place of privacy, professionalism, and personalized care where clients felt comfortable and valued without feeling rushed.
Committed to making her clients feel like family, Valerie opened her own medical aesthetics office in 2015 and named it Ashtoria Aesthetics & Wellness – inspired by the names of her two daughters, Ashley and Victoria. In opening Ashtoria, Valerie established a locked-door policy in order to provide private, white glove service to her valued clients. She also offers longer appointment blocks than most offices in the area, allowing her to take her time with each client to educate them on treatment options and expectations.
Since its inception, Ashtoria has offered a range of highly effective treatments for enhancing skin health and improving self-confidence. Valerie understands the importance of continuing education, especially within the ever-changing field of medical aesthetics. She has committed to ongoing training by attending symposiums and seminars across the United States and abroad, including hands-on experience at the Laser & Health Academy in Slovenia. Ashtoria was the first in the Mid-South to offer the award-winning Fotona Laser system, the world’s oldest laser company known for its revolutionary applications for aesthetics, dermatology, gynecology, and other areas of medical care. The Ashtoria team has also been recognized for its modern approach to neuro-modulators (Botox, DAXXIFY and Dysport) and dermal fillers (Restylane, Juvederm, Bellafill, Versa, RHA, Sculptra, and more) to produce natural-looking results with little-to-no downtime.
